December

Well with my lack of blogging, I figure its time to play catch up! Lilly is growing like weed and I fell most days as though I've accomplished nothing. It literally takes me all morning to get dressed and brush my teeth if I dont have someone else here to help. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind it AT ALL!!!!! Well what would a blog be with out pictures... so here they are!

So this is her trying out her bumbo seat... lol I think the face says it all! While she did really well with it, I think in her little mind she is saying "let me stay a baby for a little while longer" and with that being said I havn't attempted to put her back in it!!!!

I guess if you have to get a shot then you must have a pretty shiny band-aid to go with it! Lilly had to have her Hep B shot on Dec 2nd and let me tell you, this girl knows how to hold a note... lol! She held her breath for a good minute maybe longer. I guess whith the previous shot and PKU she was too young to know pain? who knows but she was a good sport and was good enough to pose with her lovely proof!

Look at that yawn.... she did have a very busy day! Not to mention Happy Birtday, she was exactly 1 month old! We had lunch with auntie Nat and Justin for Nat's birthday, we went to the mall and shopped, Where we got this georgous hat! We went and hung out with do-do and went to dinner a Pluckers for more birthday celebration! And how cute is she with this shirt?

We went to meet Samantha and Ashley when they got home from the hospital! Sam was so adorable and small... It made me sad to see how fast they really grow! Lilly was a month and 2 days old and Sam was 3 days old! And oh how awesome was it to finally have our babies to hold instead of these rediculous humps on our bellies :)~

Here is another one of the anticipate friends! Richard and Tiana came over to meet Lilly when she was 5 weeks! Richard was born on July 9th and is sooo alert! He was such a cutie but Lilly just slept the whole time they were visiting, something that she is very good at!

Yes she was a very cute little bear and fit in very well with her BIG bear that Auntie Jen gave her at the hospital but I promise I dont normally dress my child in the super hot snow suite everyday here in Texas. This particlar day was the Coldest day yet of the season and our house thermostate was reading 62 degrees..... It was freezing and I even had mittens on Lilly but they didn't match the outfit so I couldn't take a picture with them on :) Luckly my dad and Brian had it all fixed that evening and we had a very toastly space heater that made us extra warm!

Introducing Lillian Paige!

I guess I should post a picture of our wonderful Princess! I wanted to blog about some of the things that she is already doing that I know I will forget about in the next week or two :(

Music instantly calms her, and country music to be more specific! She is a pacey girl but I'm sure we wont out grow that anytime soon. We started eating 3oz bottles on Friday the 13 because other wise her crazy self would want to eat everything in sight, especially her hand. I love the way when I feed her she has this perfect gulp and cooo sound, seriously melts my heart. Then when you try and burp her it like she is soooo excited to be eating she makes this "uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh" noises! Changing table time is becoming one of her favorite times, she just layes there and looks around. Today I layed her in her crib for the first time and she LOVED it, maybe because it was something new, I'm not sure but she found one of her stuffed animals and when I came back in there she had it wraped around her head and her pacey was out!!!!! The baby book has a page for hand prints, so while we getting the foot prints for everything I thought what the heck? I really dont know whos brilliant idea it was for that because it is seriously IMPOSSIBLE to get a newborns hand print, so let me just say that I promise I didn't try to paint my daughters finger nails. If I had then I certainly wouldn't have chosen black!

Lilly is the light of my life and as I hold her on my chest and let her sleep I wonder how long she will want to do that. I cherish ever moment I get with her and I dont want to leave her side agian.

When it rains it pours!

So sunday night my parents came over to watch the cowboy came and eat some chili, and of coarse play with little Lilly! And after they left we finised the game in bed. I knew that it was going to be a long night because Chris was going back to work on Monday and I didn't want him to be up as much with Lilly so he could get some sleep! Well I decided to change that real fast! When I got up at 12 to feed Lilly my face had started to swell so I went to the bathroom and layed down for a few more minutes, When I got back up my whole face was swollen and I could barley open my eyes. I woke Chris up and showed him and took some benedry because I honestly thought that I has some kind of allergic reation to somthing. So I went ahead and fed Lilly. A few minutes later Chris called my mom and we were off to the ER. When we got there they did a EKG, x-ray, pee test and some blood work. With all of that they were able to find that I had a uti, pnemonia and some serious heart issues, not to mention that my blood pressure was 176/106. So they started me on some antibotics and told me that they were going to admit me... my emotions went crazy because there was no way that I wanted to be away from my daughter. When I got to my room they started me on Magnisum, the worst medicine I have ever had in my life... it was horrible and I had to be on it for 24 hours and they told me that I would have to use a bed pan.... what the heck! Luckly they inserted a foley! When Dr. Williams got there the first thing I asked her was when could I go home, she laughed, then I asked when I could get out of that stupid bed, then I asked When I could have some water, Luckly she let me have ice water. So was there all day monday, tuesday and Wednesday. So all of this was caused by Preeclampsia, not allergy! They said that my heart was in overload due to the blood that I had lost during labor and my high blood pressure. On of the Dr.'s said that I had signs of congestive heart failure. What the heck you never think that if you are healthy something like this could happen to you. When Dr. Williams came in Wednesday night to release me she looked at me and said you know you were really sick, really this whole issue has scared the living day lights out of me. But I am SOOO glad to be back home with my princess, because being away from her for part of the first week of her life was one of the hardest things I think I've done yet as a mom. So now that Im home, I'm on blood pressure pills and I'm still having issues with it. I just pray nothign gets too bad again!

Oh yea and just so you can see how bad it really was!!!!!!

The Joy of my Life is Born!

So I guess I need to hurry up and blog about the crazy past week and half before I forget about it, althought its still goning to take a lot to forget about :)

Monday Nov. 2: So Dr. Williams had me scheduled to come in early for my weekly check up. If I still had NO progress then she was going to do something about it! Well 8 am Chris and I are there hoping for progress as we are 2 days shy of being 40 weeks, but our luck aparently has run short! There was nothing, no dialation and I wasn't even thined out any really she said. She she insterted what she called was a balloon.... seriously what the heck! That was probably the worst part of my whole labor process! Its something similar to a foley, there is a balloon that is inserted above the cervics and one below and the pressure of the 2 and gravity working its magic is supposed to start dialation! So I went home with that, and in the mean time Im still suppossed to be on bed rest but with all the pain for this dang balloon I was doing good to waddle! The pain slowly started to dwindle around 1 and I could actually tolarate the thing!

Tuesday Nov. 3: Literally the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! So we were scheduled to be induced at 7am but needless to say the "balloon" had a different plan. At 11pm I went to the bathroom because my bladder was full to the max but nothing would come out... I thought it was odd but forgot about it and went back to bed, I got up about 3o minutes later and tried agian and the balloon just popped out! Surprisingly enough it wan't even painful. So thinking that I would just go back to sleep until 5 when I had planned to get up and get everything ready to go to the hospital, I layed down and within a few minutes I started feeling contracitons. They were about exactly 7 minutes apart, So I woke up Chris and told him I thought we should go ahead and go in. His reaction was "but your water hasn't broke yet" lol! So I called my mom and got in the shower! We were at the hospital by 1:30. By the time I got up to the labor and delivery floor it was 2:18 and I was dialated to a 5 and had contrations every 4 minutes, things looked very promising at this point and I was actually thankful for the painful "balloon". So the pain was definatly getting more intinse so at 3:3o I got the epidural, praise the lord, why anyone wouldn't want that is beyond me! at 6:15 the nurse checked me again and I was maybe a 6.... this was the first sign that Lilly wan't going to make things easy. At 8 Dr. Williams came in a broke my water, I thought for sure that would get her moving, RIGHT. So another check at 10:45 and I was a 7 and Lilly was finally a little lower. So at 12:45 the epidular started to ware off I could feel the pressure, which I guess your supposed to fell anyway, but I would also fell the contractions and the pain was starting to set in! They gave me a push of more meds through my epi and I already needed another at 2 but praise the Lord at 3:25 I could fell nothing but Lilly pushing down HARD, at that moment I new it was time and boy was that my breaking point. I remember thinking that she could just stay in me forever because I really didnt think I could push her out, lol. So it was time! When it came time for them to call Dr. W she came in and I dont remember much AT ALL... everything happened so fast and this team of nurses all came in and everyone was moving SO fast. I remember my mom asking what she could do to help and then a few minutes later on my last push there was a nurse on top of me pushing down hard on my stomach! But within a few minutes she was out and what I thought was the worst thing I had ever endured was now just a fadded memory! So altogether I was in labor 15 hours and 3 minutes and had pushed for an hour and a half! The complications were because our little princess had her shoulders not wanting out :) what are the odds... she that is why I had a nurse literlly on top of me! and they worried because her right arm wasn't functioning properly. But minutes later she was perfect and healthy and laying right on mommy! She weighed 8lbs 5 oz and was 20.5 in long, with a head full of hair! So after she was born the Dr. still had a job to do on me, even though she cut me I still tore, so another hour later everything was finished and other than some pain I was back to normal and Chris and I were a happy family!

Bedrest and all it's glory!

My 37 week mark was quite an intersting one! My feet were becoming huge, in fact Chris called them Ogar's feet! and I called the docotors office on tuesday to see if by any chance they could see me earlier or exempt me from work because being on my feet for 12 hours straight was giving me an anxiety attack just thinking about it. Well the STUPID nurse that I really dont care much for told me "dont hold your breath" so sarcasticly. That thursday I worked and had a Dr. Appt at 3:30, so I fully intended on going in and explaining to Dr. Williams all of my pains and hoping that she would fell sorry for me and exempt me. Well the minute that she walked into the room she found all these issues and I didn't have to say a thing. She just took one look at my feet and blood pressure and said "I'm putting you on Bed Rest", and that is where I have been since then (with a few minor exceptions!)

Just to make everyone happy here is a picture of my pitiful feet on a GOOD day!

In Loving Memory

So my grandfather passes away on October 8th, the day after my dad's birthday. While it was extreamly heartbreaking the whole weekend was bitter sweet.

My grandad had been living in a facility with his 91 year old mother in Wichita Falls for a little shy of a month. Something that will probably add another year to my Nanny Rene's life! So my mom and dad brought Nanny back to stay through all the upcoming events. Starting that thursday night we went through tons of old photo albums and laughed and reminised through all the years of my Grandma and Grandad! I learned NOT to give your Great grandmother prune juice and chris learned all the in's and out's of Skip-bo (which we also learned of "new" rule this time from Nanny). Mom and I took her to Sears, her favorite store, and she was in her wheel chiar scooting all around the clearence racks! We shared old stories with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins, Daniel even had us in tears at one point! I know that Grandma and Grandad would have been happy to know that we were remembering all the good and happy times of their lives together and I'm so happy that they are reunited together with the Lord! The picture above is the entire Horton Family, all together as one!

Brandy's Family!

So Brandy and I have known eachother forever really, our parents grew up on the same street and Grandparents are VERY close friends. So when she asked me to take some pictures of her family I was trilled because her daughter is too precious! This whole photography thing is all new to me and I just do it for fun and experience, so I greatly appreciated her allowing me to be a ginny pig!

Once again he has GROWN!

So this has become our traditional "Picture" of Knox. It is about the only place I can get him to sit and be still because he REALLY wants me to let him outside, lol!

So here he is at 7 weeks and about 9lbs. Too cute and innocent!

Here he is 18 weeks and 29lbs. Boy was he getting more active!

And now.... he is 24 weeks and 37lbs. I have to admit that I was a little nervous that he was going to be to much to handle when we first got him but he has really proved me wrong. When we want him to calm down and leave the other 2 dogs alone we give him his bone AKA pacifier! He knows the basic commands sit, get in your bed, lay down, get down and how could I forget EAT! The only problem that we are having is that our intentions when we got him were that he would be a outside dog, oh boy are we wrong. He strives for attention even if that means you just in the same room as him. If we put him outside for a longer period of time then he thinks is necessary then he cries and barks at the back door, he NEVER barks otherwise! He has been our little trooper and hope that the "picture" spot starts to slow down for a while b/c he is growing WAY to fast!

How far along? 34 weeks and 5 days!

Jury Duty

Okay so I did my Civic Duty and went to Jury Duty. This was the first time that I have ever been called and luckily I will get 15 years off thanks to Lilly!

To start off traffic was horrible on Friday, plus when you add the rain it made matters worse! I had planned on just paying to park because the thought of having to ride the stinky bus made my teeth cringe! So I took $10 thinking surly that would cover it.... boy was I wrong. They wanted $12 and that only secured you for 3 hours.... and they wonder why our economy is so messed up! So I sucked it up and rode became a big girl and rode the stinky bus :( I stood in line to get into the court house where we had to go through security. When my turn came I put my purse and shoes on the belt to go through.... apparently something in my purse was showing DANGER! LOL! So I had to go to this room behind so they could search my purse (which let me mention only had like 6 items in it and is VERY small) and 2 D batteries were the cause of my dangerous purse... lol! I made my way into the Jury room where it was completely full so I was in the overflow room at the very back where I couldn't see a thing. The room was called to order and I raised my right hand :) that was pretty cool! She went on to explain that there would be no court hearings that day, that everyone would be called back either Tuesday or Wednesday..... UGGGGGGGHHHHHHH could I really stand to ride that dirty bus again.... So then she went on to list the Exemptions, :) Because of the Labor Day holiday my Dr. office would be closed on Monday which made my week crazy so I had to schedule for Wednesday (that's another story) So I was extremely excited that I did have a reason to be exempt!!!! YEA! So I waddle my happy but up to the front where there is this extremely long line that wrapped the room. While I was at the very end of the line, next to me was this lady that was at the very front of the line... GOD BLESS HER! She looked at me and offered a place in front of here in line! At first I said NO that I would feel really bad... then like 10 people in line behind her insisted as well... I could not believe it. This line seriously would have taken about 2 hours to go through and this sweet sweet lady just saved my swollen feet a whole lot of pain :) So I get to the lady to explain my reason and she RESCHEDULES me for Dec. 7Th.... Looks like I will for sure be exempt then!!!!

So all in all my Jury Duty experience was quite nice! I was in and out in about an hour and half. Then I got to go home and shop with my mother!

Belly Pics!

30 Weeks! I really wanted to take some belly pics but I have NOT wanted to post any! So we finally did some more professional pictures just for fun and they didn't turn out so bad.

We have decided to name our little angel Lillian Paige! So this next picture makes it more official for sure! I had little panties like this when I was a baby so I wanted them for Lilly as well, Luckly my mother in law was able to embroder them!

I have gained about 35lbs.... UGH! Im so full of water its not even funny, my feet look like a balloons and my little fingers are so stuby :(

This is the LOVE our lives... we are just waiting for her to come meet us!
These are just a few I wanted to share! I'll blog more later!

Everything is better in 3D

Last Wednesday we got to have a 3D sonogram done. Let me just say that it was AWESOME and if you have to pay to have one done then I think it is worth it!!!!! We paid $125 and I will never regret it. I was really wishing they would telll me how much she weighed but because it was for entertainment purposes only they couldn't, I guess incase something is wrong who knows. But we did get to hear he heart beat and it about melted my heart. Lilly was being a little turkey and wouldn't move her hands so we could get a good look at her plus I though she was sucking her thomb :/ So the lady moved to a side view for a minute to show us that she was NOT sucking!!!!! :) She also put this noise to my stomach that sounded light the horn on a tug boat to me, She didn't like that much either so she started moving!

Im amazed at how much you could see. We could see little peach fuze on her head and dimples like her momma! Where it looks fuzy is the fluid and she stayed cuddled up next to the placenta for comfort the whole time!

Me, Chris, my mom and sister all went and we got a ton of pictures to bring home plus a DVD. So when Lilly gets bigger we can show her how beautiful she was before she was even born :)

They Grown SO fast.

I can not believe how fast this dog has grown. It seems like yesterday all he did was sleep and he could even fit in my lap. Well the lap is getting smaller and the dog is getting bigger! This picture was taken when he was about 7 weeks old and probably about 9lbs or so.

This picture was taken today and he is 18 weeks old and weights 29 lbs! He is quite the rowdy thing, While he does love to take his naps during the day. He doesn't realize how big he is though, butter and Allie run from couch to chair, and even sit on top of the couch so Knox thinks he can to! He does LOVE to sit outside though so when the time comes for him to be a "outside" dog I think he will adjust well! One of the biggest differences between him and the other 2 are eating habits. We used to feed the little ones once a day in the afternoon and that was fine for them, but with Knox we are feeding him 2 times b/c he is SO active and growing SO fast! For the most part he is completely potty trained with the exception of being an excited pee-er. Hopefully we can break that habit soon.

28 Weeks

Time is moving by faster now it seems, praise the lord. A lot has happened in the last few weeks, I had a breaking point and thought that I had lost my wedding ring, 2 promise rings and grandmothers wedding ring for good. I can not even begin to describe the amount of pain and emptiness I felt. Thankfully I only had to know what that felt like for a week because by the grace of God I found them... In plain sight :( Onto this week, we received a notice on our door that the horse trailer parked next to the house was in violation and needed to be moved. That meant that we got a new fence gate... It was in die or need of repair and looks fabulous! On Sunday I was in the cleaning mood and asked Chris if he would help me... He agreed so I tried to press my luck a little more and ask if we could rearrange the living room. Thinking I would get a quick NO he was all for it and wanted to get ride of our couch.... So needless to say we have less furniture but it feels so much more "homey" and livable! The best part is we have room for Lilly and her massive amount of STUFF! The best part of news this week had to be in the mail yesterday... UGH! I got a letter addressed to Whitney Nichole Horton- not my name! So surprise, Jury Duty! This should be fun, I'm not excited but I will make the best of it and let you know how it goes! I think that pretty much sums things up! Chris's' aunts and cousins in Michigan are on top of it and already mailed there gifts for the shower but let us open them early... :) Lilly has her awesome high chair, a wagon to go for walks in, her smell good and a book! So it looks like things are beginning to take way... I can not wait!!!!

Lilly has a home!

So after a lot of hard work Lillys nursery is finally looking amazing! To be quite honest when we found out that we were expecting I never would have imagined us to have a nursery like this, we are blessed! It took chris about a week to paint the stripes, I wanted them finished before they laied the new carpet so we didn't have any messes! I found the fabric for the curtains at canton and it works perfect.
Here is the awesome shelf that Chris and my dad hung today! it is exactly like what I wanted and really makes a statement in the room. The diaper bag was one of my obsession buys at canton as well! The changing table was all plain at one time but we found the knobs at hobby lobby for fairly cheep so we added them on and Im glad we did because they really make the hutch pop!
And here is where are little princess will lay her head at night :) You can't see it very well in this picture but Chris's mom made the bedding and she did a REALLY good job on it! I deffinatly do not have the time to sew like this! Our bed converts to a toddler bed and a full size bed, so if she wants to grow with it she can or we will just use it with the next kid! Oh her travel system is also sitting in the floor, its the Deco pattern from babies r us, It is a little boy like but I wanted something that we could use forever and I really liked it so we will have to find some way to add some frill to it!

Surprise

Well incase you didn't already know, I have a awesome husband! While I was gone to Colorado he was going to finish the nursery. We had a little touching up to do, a shelf that needed to be hung and some other things. Well since I had spent some money going to colorado we were going to just wait until we got paid again to finish it up! So i didn't expect to come back to anything at at all. Well I pretty much love just laying in the nursery floor and doing what ever, to me it just makes this whole process seem a little more real or something. So after I got home I headed down the hall to get my feel of the nursery that I had been deprived of the last week and as soon as I opened the door I was surprised with this:

This is the chair that I have been dying to have for our room for quite some time now. As soon as I sit in it I fell like im in heaven :) Its just that awesome! So chris had come up with this master plan to sell our our junk around the house on craiglist to come up with enough cash to surprise me! He really sacrificed a lot, Im not sure if it was really for me or more for our Princess! He sold ALL of his paintball stuff, a tv, his Foseball table and my bike that he got a awesome deal on (he was most excited about how much he got for my bike!). Needless to say I sit in here a whole lot more now and I know that those late night feedings and all the bedtime stories will be very comfy in our new chair!

Knox

I just had to post this picture because I love it so much! Knox is our new addition and I have to admit that I was a little scared when we first got him that we had gotten ourselfs into a mess but he has proved us wrong. He sleeps in his crate every night and doesn't cry at all (well unless her REALLY needs to potty) He has picked up all the basic comands such as NO, SIT , EAT, OUTSIDE.... I think that butter really tought him most of this because it didn't take much at all! We also got new carpet not to long after we got him and I thought that I was never going to allow him on the carpet so we didn't have to worrie about any accidents but it doesn't look like that is going to be a problem at all! He seems to be our little angel!

The Journey to Colorado

Well I just got back from a LONG trip to Colorado. Let me first say that it is such a beautiful state. When Corrie and I were much younger I can remember her mom driving us to Wet~n~Wild (yea back when it was still called that :) in this old brownish gold car that they had bought in Colorado and moved down here with them. I thought that it was SO odd that they didn't have AC in this car.... come on who didn't have AC its like 110 degrees here in the summers and that particular summer day im sure it was blistering, lol! Well I know know where that old little car came from.

So Corrie, Jennifer, Lilly and I set out at about 5 or so for Colorado, we made a little detour that we will never forget :) but got back on course very quickly. So needless to say after 14 hours of ridding in the car my feet were KILLING me. But we had finally met our destination and the next 6 days we would spend making Corrie fell at home. Here are a few pictures of us in Texas and us in Colorado.

Thursday Corrie and her family went white water rafting which I would have loved to do as well but I didn't want to cause Lilly any pain so Jen and I opted to go into a small town called Salida that sits down in the mountains and shop and enjoy the beauty of Colorado. We ate at this little Quant resturant for lunch and it was delicious! then we walked around for a bit til we found this coffee shop with free wii fii and Very comfy couches to relax in. Aunt Jenny got to watch Lilly moving around like crazy and I bought a very cute bag to match her nursery (everything I buy seems to match her nursery). Friday corrie's dad was flying back home so Jen and I went and got some Chic fl a and went to barnes & nobles since Corrie had gotten jen hooked on the new serious why were were there, then later that day we finished unpacking miss Corrie. Saturday was Stephanies wedding shower which was VERY nice! Sunday we went to church with Steph and I really enjoyed it :) then later on that day we meet up with Josh Holcomb for a late lunch! Monday was our last day to see eachothe for a while and we had planned on going and doing something fun but with all that we had done already we were all content with just hanging out doing NOTHING! It was so nice to! Although I love Corrie very much and Im gonna miss her greatly I was SO ready to get back home to my wonderful hubby! We hadn't been apart that long ever and being out of my normal routine was wearing on me! So tuesday morning we boarded the plane after a very confusing airport adventure in Denver but we made it to Dallas and as soon as we walked outside I could feel the reason that I love Denver so much... the humidity here is HORRIBLE!

The Mis-haps!

Well the last few days that I have had off have not gone over SO well. The biggest downfall was our fidge. Tuesday is buy a pint, get a pint free at brusters so Chris and I decided to treat ourselfes! I usually can't eat a whole cone on my own on a regular day, so a pint I knew would last at least 2 days! So Wednesday morning I woke up to enjoy my wonderful breakfast (aka Brusters) and all I had was ice cream MILK, YUCK! So needless to say everything was thawed out and there was no fixing our dinosaur of a machine, so I called my wonderful father who is also landlord. With in a few hours my parents had decided that they needed an upgraded fridge and we could deffinatly settle for a hammy down. Much cheeper! So last night we were up til 10 or so suffeling fidges around and my parents new one should be in today!

So today I started my first of 5 days in a row. This for sure has its pros and cons. I get to take a week long vacation without taking any days off but on the flip side I have to work all my days in a row which is not easy to do when your feet are swollen and 6 months pregnant. But God willing I will make it through. Sometime inbetween all of this madness I need to find time to pack up for our long journey to Colorado! One of my best friends has decided to take a huge leap of faith and move to Colorado (dont let her fool you though b/c Texas is her home!) and I couldn't let her make the trip alone! So wednesday morning we set way at 5am and tuesday I shall return on a plane with my awesome sister! Pray that all goes well!

As if that is not enough my family has all kinds of issues itself. My grandmother is going for a heart cath on tuesday and possible surgery to follow (when me and Jen are gone), not a whole lot has changed with my grandfather but it still puts a lot of stress on my dad (this is a continued prayer request) and then of coarse my pregnant self is always emotional. "I'm ready for a slow down".

Hopefully when we get back from Colorado things will get better and get my mind of all kinds of stuff, because I think that is all that is going to help! Ill keep you updated!!!!

Adelai

So after we went to Canton a few weeks ago I got this creative strike in me! I had decided that I wanted to attempt making a dress. So i asked my cousin if I could use her daughter as a model! I was actually quite proud of myself because it didn't fall apart when i put it on her, lol! My mom and I also decided that we are going to try not to spen $20 on all the precious hair bows, instead we are going to try to make them ourselfs. So the whole outfit probably cost like 8 bucks! Well anyways so I also wanted to get out and take some pictures and play with photoshop to see what all I can do. I am for sure going to need some practice before Lilly gets her :) but Addie was SO adorable. Either she really likes the camera or she is just photogenic because it was so easy! Chris came with us and he was AWESOME with her! The worst part was being 6 months pregnant in the 105 degree weather that we are having UGH! So here are some pictures that we took!

My first blog!

Well this is my first REAl post! I hope to use this to keep all the family updated and most importanly keep up with our past, I can use this to look back on what all we have done and see how fast our child grows!

We have decided to name our little girl Lillian Paige and we will call her Lilly! Everywhere we go we find signs of Lilly, Chris came home the other day after he started reading the Harry Potter books and said that he was SOLD on Lilly because that was Harry's mother name! He is such a nerd but I love him! Aunt Jenny ever bought her a bag with her name embrodered on it, a book called Lillys purple plastic purse and this toy that sings "Hi I'm Lilly" lol, what are the odds! Chris and I have been working on the nursery for a few weeks now and it is almost done, Praise the LORD! Chris did all the painting, and Deb has made all of our bedding (I am so thankful b/c it looks amazing). We should post pictures very soon we just have to add a few touches first! I think this is all for today, hopefully I will figure this all out!
