Bedrest and all it's glory!

My 37 week mark was quite an intersting one! My feet were becoming huge, in fact Chris called them Ogar's feet! and I called the docotors office on tuesday to see if by any chance they could see me earlier or exempt me from work because being on my feet for 12 hours straight was giving me an anxiety attack just thinking about it. Well the STUPID nurse that I really dont care much for told me "dont hold your breath" so sarcasticly. That thursday I worked and had a Dr. Appt at 3:30, so I fully intended on going in and explaining to Dr. Williams all of my pains and hoping that she would fell sorry for me and exempt me. Well the minute that she walked into the room she found all these issues and I didn't have to say a thing. She just took one look at my feet and blood pressure and said "I'm putting you on Bed Rest", and that is where I have been since then (with a few minor exceptions!)

Just to make everyone happy here is a picture of my pitiful feet on a GOOD day!

In Loving Memory

So my grandfather passes away on October 8th, the day after my dad's birthday. While it was extreamly heartbreaking the whole weekend was bitter sweet.

My grandad had been living in a facility with his 91 year old mother in Wichita Falls for a little shy of a month. Something that will probably add another year to my Nanny Rene's life! So my mom and dad brought Nanny back to stay through all the upcoming events. Starting that thursday night we went through tons of old photo albums and laughed and reminised through all the years of my Grandma and Grandad! I learned NOT to give your Great grandmother prune juice and chris learned all the in's and out's of Skip-bo (which we also learned of "new" rule this time from Nanny). Mom and I took her to Sears, her favorite store, and she was in her wheel chiar scooting all around the clearence racks! We shared old stories with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins, Daniel even had us in tears at one point! I know that Grandma and Grandad would have been happy to know that we were remembering all the good and happy times of their lives together and I'm so happy that they are reunited together with the Lord! The picture above is the entire Horton Family, all together as one!

Brandy's Family!

So Brandy and I have known eachother forever really, our parents grew up on the same street and Grandparents are VERY close friends. So when she asked me to take some pictures of her family I was trilled because her daughter is too precious! This whole photography thing is all new to me and I just do it for fun and experience, so I greatly appreciated her allowing me to be a ginny pig!

Once again he has GROWN!

So this has become our traditional "Picture" of Knox. It is about the only place I can get him to sit and be still because he REALLY wants me to let him outside, lol!

So here he is at 7 weeks and about 9lbs. Too cute and innocent!

Here he is 18 weeks and 29lbs. Boy was he getting more active!

And now.... he is 24 weeks and 37lbs. I have to admit that I was a little nervous that he was going to be to much to handle when we first got him but he has really proved me wrong. When we want him to calm down and leave the other 2 dogs alone we give him his bone AKA pacifier! He knows the basic commands sit, get in your bed, lay down, get down and how could I forget EAT! The only problem that we are having is that our intentions when we got him were that he would be a outside dog, oh boy are we wrong. He strives for attention even if that means you just in the same room as him. If we put him outside for a longer period of time then he thinks is necessary then he cries and barks at the back door, he NEVER barks otherwise! He has been our little trooper and hope that the "picture" spot starts to slow down for a while b/c he is growing WAY to fast!
